Business Idea Concept Checker

This is just my opinion! So, as I look at business opportunities, solutions, or advise any startup I try to get them to look carefully at these points. I believe these points, the higher on the list, makes the idea more likely to be profitable and succeed. Here is the order of startup parameters in this order I look for. And I would maybe rate your ideas by this list. If your idea does not have 1 of the first 3, then reconsider the concept. If your idea combines the first 3, you have a potential winner. If you have none of the 10 stop now. If you have 3 of these items, it may work. Anyway, I am going to post this on my Linkedin/Twitter.

1. Can I charge monthly fees?

2. Is it Internet/cloud-based?

3. Is it B2B?

4. Does it stay open all night long online?

5. Does it require a low-cost to start?

6. Is it Software as a service, Saas based. This means a platform in the cloud.

7. Does it require a low amount of staff?

8. Can it physically be built without coding at all? (no code)

9. Does the concept sell itself, meaning is it something people already are searching for?

10. Is there a market of larger companies that would like to acquire this when built.
