Why Networking For Jobs/Work Is Mightier Than Solicitating Cold
It’s been a few weeks since I have written an article on Medium. Turns out that 2021 is becoming what we could both describe as both a cluster-F as well as a boom-time opportunity.
Things are just happening for our startup SEO Turbo Booster for good or bad. We have gained customers. We have lost customers. We are finding new customers. We are finding potential investors. We are finding new directions. We discovered what really needed to be doing 2 years ago. :) We are developing a new name/brand and we may end up pivoting a tiny bit, but mainly internally.
But after looking back at 2020, we learned some hard lessons. And this short article talks about finding a job, finding clients, building a business, and the realities of “who you know!”.
There is very little difference in my mind between finding a job and finding a client for our startup. Usually we differentiate these areas tremendously, but I’m just lumping them in all together this time!
